Well, I made it back from China alive and somewhat unscathed last month and still trying to work on adjusting back to the American way of life.  It now feels foreign to me in some sense. But before I really get settled in, I'll be going to Jamaica next week for my buddy's wedding :)  I'm the photog for the event as well as the best man, only wedding guest etc. Hope to bring some good shots back with my ultra-wide angle lens... nothing like some 10-20mm fun in an island paradise!

Yep, you've read right, I'm leaving for China tomorrow for 2 months of photography, soul searching, mind exploring, body abusing, etc. updates on dA will be less frequent, well, not like they're that frequent even now, but I plan to set up a photoblog.  I will update here when that's ready and everyone get ready to follow the craziness as I'll take you around China through the eyes of a Chinese dude :) Thanks all Take Care!

I have been commissioned to do a small (ok, tiny) gig this weekend, shooting for this figure skating girl at competition.  I'm super excited yet nervous about the whole thing since it's paid so I have pressure and NEED to do an excellent job, and also, after doing hockey for fun 2 months ago, sport photography is just so intense! I guess I'm posting this to mark an important event in my photographic career, as the black hole of my money is finally pulling a small part of its own weight.  It feels gratifying that someone thinks I'm good enough to pay me to do an event... Just wanted to share that with this community that has supported me so
